This is no standard fundraiser.
This is the first year Tampa Crossroads is hosting their November 15th Uncorked: Wine & Shine Fundraiser at Keel & Curley Winery in Plant City. They wanted the event to be different than the standard sit-down fundraiser, that many people are familiar with. Instead, the event will provide a fun, casual outdoor environment, where guests are invited to walk around Keel & Curley, and meet and greet with fellow supporters, local political figures, and business people. Attendees can learn more about Tampa Crossroads and the services they offer to veterans, while enjoying appetizers and wine, and having a great time.
Tickets to the event are $25.
Committee Chairperson, Ailen Cruz, said, “we decided to host the event in mid-November for its proximity to Veteran’s Day.” There will be live music, a silent auction, door prizes, raffles and testimonies from past clients of Tampa Crossroads.
“This event will raise funds in order to continue Tampa Crossroads’ efforts to eliminate veteran homelessness in Tampa Bay,” Cruz said.
Guests can expect a big announcement regarding the progress of Tampa Crossroads’ efforts to eliminate veteran homelessness on the day of the event.
Tampa Crossroads anticipates reaching functional zero by December 31, 2015. All donations assist their efforts in attaining this goal.
